SR-71 Blackbird on Aircraft Carrier!!


Check out this excellent image from Google Earth of an SR-71 on an aircraft carrier in the New York area. Definately something you dont see everyday!

    I don't think this is an active aircraft carrier. Some of the aircraft shown here have been retired for years now.

    Check, it's the A-12 on the deck of the Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum in New York Harbor.

    I also liked the Harrier (US marines version) that is standing on the elevator opposite the bridge.
